Robyn Liu, M.D.
Dr. Robyn Liu joined the Greeley County Health Services staff in 2007. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Board Eligible in Preventive Medicine. She completed residencies in both specialties at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. In addition, she holds a Master of Public Health degree with emphasis on Health Management & Policy from Portland State University, where she earned an Award of Excellence for academic achievement.
A native of Belleville, Kansas, Dr. Liu earned her bachelor’s degree cum laude in History & Science from Harvard University and her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. While at KU, Dr. Liu received the Norge W. Jerome Award in Preventive Medicine, the Don Carlos Guffey Award in History & Philosophy of Medicine, and was a Student Leadership Award Finalist. She has worked in emergency rooms and acute care clinics and has been a volunteer health care provider in Salina, Kansas, and in Oregon. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. Dr. Liu’s professional interests include preventive medicine and public health, nutrition and food systems, adolescent health, and women’s health including obstetrics with c-sections.
By co-chairing the Community Health Action Team with Dr. Fahrenholtz, Dr. Liu hopes to use her public health background to promote the overall health of Greeley County. She is a quilter, cyclist, mother of two, and avid recycler.
Practice Philosophy….
The vast majority of wellness is achieved outside the medical office: in homes, schools, and community groups. To make a true difference, a physician must help patients work within the contexts that shape their life and health.
